Bharti Airtel deploys additional spectrum in Jammu Kashmir and Leh Ladakh | Capital market news

Bharti Airtel announced that it has completed the deployment of the additional acquired spectrum in July 2024. The deployment of additional 5 MHz on the 2100 band and additional 3.8 MHz on the 900 band will give a boost to the 5G/4G network capabilities of ‘Airtel which in turn will improve and improve data speeds and provide significantly better coverage inside homes and buildings, both in urban and rural areas.

The deployment of additional spectrum has now been completed and hence customers in Jammu, Srinagar and Leh Ladakh etc. will benefit from a high quality of service for both voice and data. The deployment will also enable Airtel to offer wider coverage along highways and railways, as well as increase its presence in rural areas as the demand for connectivity continues to increase exponentially.
