Adani Ports records 14% growth in cargo volumes in September 2024 | Capital market news

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) announced that as of September 2024, APSEZ handled 37.5 MMT of total cargo (+14% YoY). Freight growth is mainly driven by containers, up 31% year-on-year, followed by liquid and gas freight (+11%).

During the first half of FY25, APSEZ handled 219.8 MMT of total cargo (+8.5% YoY), the highest cargo ever recorded in the first half of the year. This growth was supported by containers, which reached 19% year-on-year, followed by liquid and gas freight (+8%).
