Order of BEL bags worth over Rs 500 crore since September 24; FY25 order book at Rs 7,689 crore | Capital market news

Bharat Electronics said it booked orders worth over Rs 500 crore in the last month.

Major orders received include EMI, AMC shelters for integrated air command and control system nodes, upgrades/spares for gun systems, spare parts for radars, communication system, etc.

With these orders, BEL has now accumulated orders totaling Rs 7,689 crore in the current financial year.

Navratna PSU BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate that designs, manufactures and supplies products and systems in a wide variety of areas including radar, missile systems, military communications, systems naval, electronic warfare and avionics, C4I. systems, electro-optics, tank electronics and gun and weapon system upgrades, as well as electronic fuses in the defense segment. As of June 30, 2024, the Government of India held 51.14% stake in the company.

The company recorded 46.9% growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 791 crore in Q1 FY25 compared to Rs 538.48 crore in Q1 FY24. Operational revenue jumped by 20.1% YoY (YoY) to reach Rs 4,243.57 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2024.

The stock rose 0.22% to currently trade at Rs 267.95 on the BSE.
